poem 1
handwritten in tiny print (most likely in pencil or ballpoint pen, perhaps sharpie marker) in a relatively obscure part of the gallery (i'm thinking along the underside of the windowsill, but this will of course depend on the floorplan of the show). mentioned in one catalogue as a scrawl of graffitti left over by a previous artist named Granger Tolman.

poem 2
the "card" of a nonexistent work. the piece should be
described in one of the catalogues and attributed to Granger Tolman,
but the card should not be mentioned.

poem 3
printed several times per page on an inkjet printer.
each page will be slashed into eighths or sixteenths, turned so that the blank side of the page is facing the viewer, and piled into stacks which are labelled "scratch paper" for the general use of guests. those who happen to turn the paper over will notice that there is text on the back. some may piece several strips together to discover the poem printed there.

poem 4
a note taped to a wall/door/etc. in a semi-private area of the Flux Factory space (for instance the bathroom or kitchen; a space that is generally considered to be more a part of the "house" of Flux than part of the gallery itself), reminding fluxers and guests of some mundane detail. i have decided that this should a notice stuck to the fridge with magnets:
On Saturday evening (9/17) I
will be spraying for bugs.
Please make yourself
